Where is the Library located?
The Buena Park Library is located at 7150 La Palma Avenue in Buena Park. We are between the cross streets of Knott and Western Avenues.

When is the Library open?
Monday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. 
Friday and Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 
Sundays and Holidays Closed 
 

How do I get a Library Card?
Your library card is free with verification of your current address (i.e., a current California Driver's License or Identification card). Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present when obtaining a card. There is a fee of $1.00 to replace a lost library card.

How long may I borrow materials?
The loan period for all materials except DVDs, videos, and magazines is 21 days. DVDs, videos, and magazines have a loan period of 7 days. All items, except videos and DVDs, may be renewed twice if no other patrons are waiting for them.
 

What if I return my books late?
A charge of 20 cents per day, per item is placed on your card if an item is overdue. The overdue charge for DVDs and video tapes is $1.00 per day, per title. 
 

How do I check out videos?
You must be at least 18 years old to check out DVDs and video tapes. The loan period for DVDs and videos is 7 days. 
 

May I request a Marriage or Birth Certificate at the Library?
The library does not maintain or keep marriage or birth certificate records.
