Science Saturday

Cancelled due to weather.  This event has been moved to November 6.

Hello, wonderful science people! Join Joe the Science Bro out on the front lawn to learn about the exciting science behind rockets! This program is geared towards students in 2nd - 6th grades.

No reservations or registration required, but space is limited to the first 20 attendees.

Halloween Crafts and Trick or Treating

Kids, join us (in your costume if you’d like!) on the lawn at any time between 1 - 3 p.m. to paint your own monster rock, choose and decorate a pumpkin from our balloon pumpkin patch, and color your own trick or treating bag. Then take your bag and trick or treat inside the library! While supplies last.

The crafts portion of this program will be canceled in the event of rain or extreme heat.

Lotería on the Lawn

Kids, celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a fun game of lotería, sometimes called Mexican bingo.  You'll learn about the significance of lotería in many cultures, play a few rounds yourself, and maybe even win a cool prize.

We'll be outside on the lawn, so bring your own blanket or chair.  This program will be canceled in the event of rain or extreme heat.

Sunshine Storytime

Bring your chair or blanket and join Miss Shailene on the front lawn for outdoor storytime.  No reservations are necessary.

Weather permitting.  This event may be cancelled in the event of rain or extreme heat.
