 Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is a Gothic horror novel about Victor Frankenstein, a scientist who creates a sentient creature from dead body parts but abandons it due to its grotesque appearance. The rejected and lonely creature seeks revenge on its creator by murdering Victor's loved ones, leading to a cycle of vengeance and tragedy that ultimately destroys both the scientist and his creation. The story is told as a nested narrative, primarily through the accounts of Captain Robert Walton, Victor Frankenstein, and the monster himself.
