Lotería

Children and families, celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a fun game of lotería, sometimes called Mexican bingo.

You'll learn about the significance of lotería in many cultures, play a few rounds yourself, and maybe even win a cool prize.

 All ages are welcome.

BARK Therapy Dogs

Come read to our dog pals in the children's fiction area.

Readers will receive a time slot with a dog on a first come, first served basis.

All participants 2 years of age and older will be required to wear a mask while participating in this program.

Reopening Day Stay and Play

Children ages 0-12, stay and play at the library on reopening day!

Complete all three stay and play activities--scavenger hunt, marker "watercolor" art, and mystery touch and feel box--and receive an avocado pillow to make at home because... you know... you GUAC!

While supplies last. Parents and caregivers of children who cannot complete an activity can complete the activity on their children's behalf.

Brownie Book Chat

Kids 12 years old and younger, join us on Zoom to share about your favorite book and hear about other kids' favorite books while we all snack on brownies in a cup.

First, pick up a brownie kit from the children's desk between August 1-6 (while supplies last).

Second, at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, ask a grownup to help you make your brownie in a cup.

Third, at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, join the Zoom meeting with your brownie for our brownie book chat.
